AROMATHERAPY

Aromatherapy is the use of aromatic compounds extracted from plants, mostly as essential oils (EO), to prevent and relieve certain conditions, as well as to promote relaxation and good mental health.
PRECAUTIONS
Essential oils are concentrated in active chemical ingredients and therefore can be dangerous and need to be handled with care: specially for children (under 10 years old), pregnant or breastfeeding women, elderly, individuals with pre-existing conditions e.g. allergies or respiratory disorders, epilepsy, asthma.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Never use pure essential oils, they must be mixed (diluted) with vegetable oils (hazelnut, sesame, etc) or possibly body lotion, bubble bath. Using EO by massage provides a double benefit, relaxation from the EO and from the massage itself.
DOSAGE
The quantities applied vary based on age, state of health, nature of the symptoms, etc. Most often, 3 different essential oils are mixed. For children, do not use more than 4 drops of EO and for adults 10 drops of EO. EOs must always be diluted in 10 ml of vegetable oil (i.e. 2 teaspoons).
*Noble Chamomile:
used in case of anguish, anxiety, stress, panic crisis, depression.
