I need to be motivated

I receive small rewards

To encourage children to do their HOMEWORK, it is often useful to build on what motivates them.

The trick is to incorporate into the lesson the passions and interests of your child (eg flowers, animals, fairies, unicorns, space, dinosaurs, pokemons or cars).

And why not use the good old system of (small) REWARDS?

For younger children, you can make a daily list of homework, and reward the child with a small sticker for each task completed correctly, without a fight within the time limit.

Consider a larger sticker at the end of the homework if everything goes perfectly well.

For older children, you can progressively increase their autonomy by having them draw up a weekly homework chart with a column for each day. You can adapt the reward system step by step until you give one big sticker at the end of the homework, possibly accompanied by some encouragement!

At the end of the school year, the child ends up with a notebook full of rewards!

This technique works well with young COLLECTORS and children who have one (or more) INTERESTS OR PASSIONS.
